This Scottish Sewing Set was inspired by the original Isabella Sinclair 1827 sampler, which belongs to Giulia Manfredini’s private collection.
Most of the motifs of this sewing set recall the Scottish embroidery tradition: various animals (dogs, rabbits), noble seven-tail-feathered peacocks, geometric and French-influenced architectural elements and bright lettering.
The home of this sewing set is a lovely tray created by Cabranmary Woods.
