Sampler del Lago Maggiore / Lake Maggiore Sampler

This design is dedicated to the Delegazione di Baveno of Associazione Italiana del Punto Croce (Baveno Chapter of Italian Cross Stitch Association) as it has been created for the Exhibit “Dalla A…… alla Z sul filo del colore” (From A…. to Z, along the thread of colour), held in Baveno, VB, Italy, on September 1st-9th 2007.

In the sampler there are a few elements of Lake Maggiore: the mountains with the snow, the lake with its balustrades, the Isola dei Pescatori (Fishermen Island), the worldwide famous gardens with fountains, the entrance of Verbania gardens, tulip and wisteria flowers..
