A Flapper Doll Pincushion

I decided to stitch this pincushion doll after the great success of my “A Christmas Doll Pincushion and Thimble Purse”, designed two years ago.

I hope you enjoy this new model as well.

This Pincushion Doll is dedicated to my dearest sister Alfonsina, amazing wife, mother, teacher, magistrate and………. last but not least……. my wonderful friend!

Porcelain doll was obtained by an antiques dealer. You can look for the doll from antiques shops, eBay, or choose a similar doll from BrierRose (e.g. Elizabeth doll).

Fabric	16.5 x 7.5 in (42 x 19 cm) 35 ct Etruria Ecru linen by Sotema
Threads	twelve stranded overdyed Belle Soie silk threads by Crescent Colours (DMC Conversions available): Terra Potta, Harvest, Herb Garden, Sagebrush, Peaches ‘n Cream. One skein each is needed to stitch the pincushion.
Stitches	Cross Stitch, Backstitch Drawn thread work.
